By appointing the services of 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd by telephone, e-mail or by any other form of communication, you, the client automatically agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd.

REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING & REGULAR OFFICE CLEANING

A minimum of 2 hours in total per cleaning visit applies.

You, the client agrees to provide a list of tasks needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd.

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd is to provide all cleaning products and equipment, unless other arrangements have been made with 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd

Any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do a job on commencing work is only based on the average time it takes to clean a home or office of similar size to existing clients, (it being difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required).

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd advises that you, the client or a client’s representative must be present at the time of completion of a cleaning job, so that an inspection can be carried out and any corrections can be made and/or rectified on the same day. If the customer has scheduled an inventory inspection, then the inspection must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the clean has been carried out.

Any complaints or dissatisfaction of our work must be reported within 24hrs of our visit.

If a client is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, 1^st Klas Cleaning Services reserves the right to re-clean any areas and items to the client’s satisfaction.

Key replacement/locksmith fees are only to be paid if the keys are lost by our operatives.

Cleaning Operatives to Clients

By using our services, you, the client agrees to use those who are employed by 1^st Cleaning Services Ltd in order to carry out your cleaning requirements. 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd has the right to change the cleaning staff at any time without explanation and to use replacement staff to cover holiday, sickness or any other form of absence which may occur at a moment’s notice.

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd reserves the right NOT to be responsible for:

Power cut or water supply issues resulting in the cleaning job(s) NOT being able to be carried out to the highest possible standard and/or being unable to carry out certain jobs to certain areas.

A third party entering or being present at the client’s premises during the cleaning process – such as tradesmen who could undo the cleaning operative’s good work.

Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely using the cleaning materials and equipment supplied.

Any damages caused by the cleaning operatives whilst using the client’s own equipment and products at the client’s request.

Any damages caused to the client’s equipment by the cleaning operatives whilst using at the client’s request.

CARPET CLEANING

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd does not provide a carpet cleaning service, but if this service is required then 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd can organise a carpet cleaner via a third-Party contractor.

WINDOW CLEANING

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd does not provide a window cleaning service, but if this service is required then 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd can organise a window cleaner via a third-Party contractor.

OVEN CLEANING

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd does not provide an oven cleaning service, but if this service is required then 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd can organise an oven cleaner via a third-Party contractor.

PAYMENT

Regular domestic cleaning: payable by Bank Transfer, cash, cheque on a weekly basis.

Regular office cleaning: payable by Bank Transfer, cash, cheque on a monthly basis.

Overdue invoices will incur a charge of 8% over the Bank of England base rate.

Invoices from 1^st Klas Cleaning Services are due for payment within 21 working days.

Invoices from PJS Cleaning Services are due for payment within 12 working days.

All hourly rates quoted will be subject to VAT. VAT will be charged at current rate of 20%.

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd reserves the right to increase the hourly rate at anytime by giving no less than 4 weeks’ notice.

“1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd shall be entitled to recover any such costs that are incurred by the recovery of any outstanding monies from the client”

CLAIMS 

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd has public and employer’s liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operative working on behalf of 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd. There is a £250.00 excess on any claim.

You, the client accepts and understands that any losses, breakages, damages or suspected theft must be reported within 24 hours from the date of our visit. Failure to do so will entitle the customer to nothing.

In the case of any damages or breakages caused by one of our cleaning operatives, 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd will repair or replace like for like. If the item cannot be replaced or repaired 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd will rectify the problem by sourcing the nearest replacement available.

CANCELLATION

Regular domestic cleaning & Regular office cleaning:

A client may cancel a single cleaning visit by giving at least 48 hours advance notice, failure to do so may result in being charged if a replacement clean cannot be found.

TERMINATION OF THE CLEANING SERVICE

A client may terminate their cleaning service with 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd without giving any prior notice or advanced warning.

The client agrees that after the termination of the cleaning service, that they will NOT approach or encourage any present cleaners of 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd to clean for them privately.

If a client does wish to directly hire a present cleaner of 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd for private work, then the client must pay an introduction fee of £1000+vat direct to 1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd within 7 days in receipt of the invoice.

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd reserves the right to withdraw any cleaning services at any time and with immediate effect if the client fails to keep up to date with their invoice payments or fails to provide a safe environment for our cleaning operatives to work in.

1^st Klas Cleaning Services Ltd reserves the right to make any changes to any part of the terms and conditions without giving any prior written notice.
